Our Story
SNE Studios is a creative and community-driven media organization co-founded by close friends with a shared vision: to give people the tools and platform to tell their own stories. We operate through both a Community Interest Company (CIC) and a limited company, each serving complementary purposes.
Our breakthrough project, "The Success of Moss Side," created by co-founder Baka during his time at university, flipped the usual negative narrative about Moss Side by highlighting positive stories, local leaders, and community resilience. This documentary gained significant attention across Manchester and sparked important conversations about how communities are portrayed.
At our core, we believe in narrative sovereignty – letting people tell their own stories, their own way. We're building a bridge between cutting-edge technology and grassroots authenticity, starting locally in Manchester but with a global vision.
